The Illinois AMVETS Service Foundation considers grant proposals to assist organizations in their various programs benefiting and servicing American Veterans.

Please note:

• Funding is first-come, first-serve.

• Organizations must be located in Illinois.

• Funds are required to be used to help Illinois veterans.

• Grant applications will be accepted from August 1 - May 31. Deadlines for consideration are two weeks prior to each department meeting. 

• All listed requirements must be included with the application.

• Applications are evaluated by the Illinois AMVETS Grant Committee at each SEC (February, June and September). The committee will make a recommendation on each application, and then it is submitted to the Illinois AMVETS Service Foundation for the final decision.
