Registration
Registration is online for the 79th Annual Illinois AMVETS Convention. Registration is $10, and everyone must pay registration to be on the floor.
Rooms, mileage & per diem
Service Foundation members, Department District Commanders, Department Appointed Officers and Post SEC Committeemen are the only individuals who will receive rooms, mileage and per diem paid by the AMVETS.
Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend, but it will be at your own expense. All room reservations must be made online, via the form above.
Stars & Stripes Awards Luncheon
A luncheon will be held on Saturday, June 22nd to recognize leadership and awards. This is not required, but highly encourage. Tickets are $35/person. You will have an option of sandwich, along with chips, cookie and drinks.
Reports
Service Foundation members, Department District Commanders, Department Appointed Officers and Post SEC Committeemen are required to submit written reports no later than May 15. Rooms, mileage and per diem will not be provided to those officers who fail to do so.
District Meetings
District Meetings
District 1 Meetings:
Meetings will be held the 3rd Thursday in February, May and September at 7:30 PM. Location TBD.
District 2 Meetings:
04/14/24 at Post #90. Dinner at noon; meeting at 1 PM.
District 3 Meetings:
District 3 will meet on at the PAL Hotel in Springfield during Convention. Time TBD.
District 4 Meetings:
05/19/24 at 1 PM
Post 52 in Fisher
District 5 Meetings:
All District 5 meetings will begin at 1 PM.
05/18/24 at Post 40 in Effingham
(May's meeting is now on a Saturday!)
